Birthday Fun

2012-01-07-010wlogo

Lyla recently attended her BFF’s 2nd birthday and we got a little candle magic on our Carvel.  Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats the creamy, melt-in-your-mouth white frosting on those classic cakes.  Brings you right back to being 9 all over again in the lick of a spoon.

Don’t forget, Jecca D will come and capture the magic of your child’s birthday party!  You know, the one where you spend 6 weeks planning too much with a hot glue gun and fingers getting crazy glued together?  And the one where you have to play ring leader and chef instead of photographer to grab the magic of the party?  Let me take a load off for mom to be more present in the day.  I’d be honored to tell the story of when Grace turned 1.

  1. LOL! It is naptime and I am in the midst of peeling stray hot glue strings off some 1st bday party decor at this very moment! Too funny. I never thought to have a photographer at the party, but it is such a great idea! I am always too busy hosting and mommy-ing to take the time to take good pictures. Do you have special fees for events like that or the normal general session fees?

  2. I knew there were other mom's out there who craft it up like I do! I'm glad you can relate. After experiencing my daughter's own 1st birthday party, I know how impossible it is to play host AND photographer, all while being present in the momentous day for your kiddo. That's why I started offering the birthday party session!

    It's up to you how long you'd like a photographer there, but my general birthday package includes:
    * 2 hours of photography
    * a handful of images focused on the birthday baby's outfit
    * detail shots of all the decorations up
    * the epic cake dig-in moments
    * a family picture
    * candid action as it happens during the day
    * a Facebook CD to share ALL images in web, watermark format

    The package is $200 for 2 hours. An array of products are available for purchase after the session. My Welcome Packet that is sent upon booking includes the details on all the goodies you can invest in afterwards.

    It's a great option as it always ends up being a gisnt family photo shoot with some cake mixed in! I'm at jeccadphotography@gmail.com or 251-648-5750 if you'd like to book!
