Yes, that’s 366 – LEAP YEAR! doh.
On a relaxed and rejuvenatingly mild New Years Day, we took a mini-mini-hike (like 58 steps kind of hike with Lyla in the backpack)while Auntie Lulu was in town to this undiscovered pond that has been behind our house tucked away in the woods. 3 months later we finally decided to go scope out the territory after erasing the fears of poison ivy and deer poop. Um, yeah. Let’s just say I found a whole new waterfront photo shoot spot right in my backyard. Bonus!
As you can see from the sweet rear-view mirror my pack is accessorized with, Lyla is always waving and smiling at her aunt. There is really something so astronomically special between them. From the day we brought Lyla home, she is always so content when with her auntie. Lulu doesn’t need words to communicate to our little one, never did. Just play. And songs. And funny faces involving disappearing tongues. And I love that like you’ll never know Lu.
Little Red Riding Hood photo shoot in the woods anyone?
Fun change of perspective!
